Privacy and Security Notice

Responsible handling of claim inquiry information.

Unclaimed property reviews can involve family, address, ownership, and identity details. This notice explains what we ask for at the first step and how we treat that information.

What we collect.

The contact form asks for basic contact details, relationship context, and a short description of the possible property or claim. We use that information to evaluate the inquiry, respond to the requester, and identify likely next steps.

Limited intake

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank details, copies of identification, claim documents, or other sensitive records through the initial form.

No sale of data

We do not sell personal information. Inquiry details are used to communicate with you about the potential claim and related recovery process.

Follow-up documents

If documents are needed later, an advocate will explain the appropriate transfer method and why each document is being requested.

Security practices.

The site should be served over HTTPS in production. The contact form is configured for an HTTPS form endpoint, and the placeholder endpoint must be replaced before launch. We keep access to inquiry information limited to people who need it to review or respond to the claim inquiry.

Your choices.

You may ask us to update or delete inquiry information by contacting info@findlostfunds.com or calling (415) 498-0734. You may also work directly with official state unclaimed property agencies without using a private recovery service.
